international trade in endangered species of wild fauna and flora
started in Valbadon in Istria on Tuesday at the initiative of the
Croatian Environmental Protection Ministry. #L#
The objective of the two-day seminar is to educate police to
actively implement the Convention on the International Trade in
Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) in Croatia, the
ministry said in a statement.
Apart from police officers from Croatia, the seminar is also
attended by guests from Slovenia, Slovakia and Hungary.
