Participating in the seminar, which will last until September 6,
are 30 employees of state ministries, diplomats, reporters and
postgraduate students from Great Britain, the Netherlands,
Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia-
Herzegovina, Serbia and Montenegro, Macedonia and Albania, the
Atlantic Council of Croatia has stated.
NATO representative Gay Gerbaud has said that Croatia being chosen
to host the seminar is a logical consequence of the country's
drawing closer to NATO, as well as of NATO's wish to help Croatia
achieve that goal as soon as possible.
Professor Radovan Vukadinovic, president of the Atlantic Council
of Croatia, has said that the seminar has become a tradition pooling
scientists and young leaders from South-East Europe and other
European countries and helping this part of Europe draw closer to
Euro-Atlantic associations.
