Party (SDP), has stated that the SDP will embark on an election campaign on Sunday. At an informal meeting of SDP members in Zagreb's Maksimir park, Racan called on the party membership to show during the campaign what the SDP had done for Zagreb and Croatia. "We have chosen the right direction in Croatia and towards the EU and we are ready to continue following that direction," Racan said. Asked to forecast how much votes his party would win, he said that one had to count with a strong SDP in Zagreb and the entire country and that he left speculation about ratings to weaker parties. The party meeting was attended by around 1,000 party members, including parliamentary deputies, government ministers, and the head of the party's Zagreb branch, Milan Bandic.COALI
