functioning of elected and constituted minority councils in Vukovar.

implementation of the constitutional law on the rights of national
minorities and the functioning of elected and constituted minority

The meeting was also attended by the head of the government office
for cooperation with international institutions, Tomislav
Vidosevic, the office of the Vukovar mayor said in a statement.
Becker said that the constitutional law on minority rights and
national minority councils could be of help in improving relations
and promoting cooperation between ethnic communities.
Vidosevic said that adoption of the law on minority rights was a
great asset to Croatia.
Stengl said that national minorities had participated in local
government bodies in accordance with the law on minority rights
even before its adoption, the statement said.
