"We do not at all agree with such an attitude of our national
television which is financed from the national budget, and demand
immediate intervention by the government. Slovene television must
change and become a fortress in the defence of our national
interests rather than bow to a minister from a neighbouring
country," said the leader of the Slovene National Party and deputy
chairman of the parliamentary committee for international
relations.
On Tuesday evening, Slovene television broadcast a telephone
conversation with Croatian Foreign Minister Tonino Picula who
presented Croatian views regarding the recent worsening of
relations between the two countries.
