ZAGREB TO HOST WORLD THEATRE FESTIVAL ON SEPT. 15-22

ZAGREB, Sept 2 (Hina) - The Zagreb 2003 World Theatre Festival will be held from September 15 to 22. #L# The purpose of the event is to turn Zagreb into a new European culture capital, the festival's art director Dubravka Vrgoc said on Tuesday, adding that it had been 15 years since Zagreb last played host to a major theatre. Zagreb 2003 will open with Ibsen's "Nora", directed by Thomas Ostermeier and performed by the Schaubuehne am Lehniner Platz theatre from Berlin. (hina) ha sb
