Twenty-two theatre troupes from Bulgaria, Croatia, Italy, Israel,
Hungary, Germany, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, Spain and Great
Britain will stage 23 performances during the festival.
An exhibition of puppets from the Hungarian Theatre Museum and
Institute was opened this evening before the start of the
festival.
The event will end on Friday, September 5.
PIF was established in 1968 by an Esperanto association.
