ZAGREB, Aug 20 (Hina) - UNESCO's regional forum on dialogue among civilisations to be held in Ohrid, Macedonia, on August 29 and 30 will bring together presidents of eight south-eastern European countries, including Croatian President
Stjepan Mesic, the organisation said in a statement Wednesday.

The aim of the forum is to strengthen peace and stability in the
region by encouraging understanding among peoples, cultures and
religions, and to promote respect for human rights and equality,
the statement said.
The forum will be attended by presidents Alfred Moisiu of Albania,
Borislav Paravac of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Georgi Parvanov of
Bulgaria, Ferenc Madl of Hungary, Svetozar Marovic of Serbia and
Montenegro, and Janez Drnovsek of Slovenia will attend the forum.
