development of democratic institutions and market economy.

included the struggle against organised crime, terrorism and
violence among ethnic groups, and the development of democratic

Holkeri held his first news conference in Pristina after two-day
talks with top international officials, representatives of Kosovo
institutions and Albanian and Serb political leaders.
Holkeri said his priorities would be the strengthening of the rule
of law, the fight against organised crime, terrorism and
extremists, support for the return of all displaced persons, and
development of the judiciary and democratic and economic
institutions.
The goals also include the promotion of a multiethnic society,
dialogue and integration, he added.
