ZAGREB, Aug 11 (Hina) - Twelve Croatian military police officers left for Afghanistan on Monday as an advance party of a platoon scheduled to join them later this month.

The platoon will be operating as part of the International Security
and Assistance Force in Afghanistan.
The officers were seen off at Zagreb airport by the armed forces
deputy chief of staff, Slavko Baric, and military police chief Ivan
Jukic.
