ZAGREB, Aug 8 (Hina) - Croatian Assistant Foreign Minister Darko Bekic and Italian Ambassador to Croatia Alessandro Grafini in Zagreb on Friday exchanged ratification documents on a social insurance agreement between the two
countries, the foreign ministry said in a statement.

The social insurance agreement was signed on 27 June 1997 in Rome,
while an administrative agreement on the implementation of the
social insurance agreement was signed on 12 September 2002, the
statement said.
The social insurance agreement will come into effect on 1 November
2003.
