ZAGREB, Aug 1 (Hina) - The Croatian ministry of maritime affairs, transport and communications stated on Friday that it had answered all questions from the European Union questionnaire's Chapter 9, referring to the national
transportation policy, and sent them to the ministry of European integration three weeks before the deadline.

transport and communications stated on Friday that it had answered
all questions from the European Union questionnaire's Chapter 9,
referring to the national transportation policy, and sent them to
the ministry of European integration three weeks before the

According to a press release issued by the transport ministry, the
questionnaire's section on transportation policy is the largest
individual section, containing 127 questions which with 550
secondary questions make up a whole of some 700 questions.
Enclosed with the answers are tabular surveys of road tolls in the
country. The transport ministry also provided answers about basic
trends in its sector.
Some answers cover the structure of markets in road, railway, sea,
river and air traffic.
The answers include data on the national legislation compatible
with the EU, such as the law on railways adopted at the last sitting
of the parliament before its summer recess.
This ministry as also provided other bodies of the state
administration with data from its scope of activities, which are
helpful for filling in the other segments of the questionnaire,
indirectly connected with the matter of transport.
