MOSTAR/BRCKO, July 25 (Hina) - The assembly in the northern Bosnian district of Brcko decided on Friday that the monument to World War Two Chetnik leader Draza Mihajlovic should be removed from the town centre.

However, the monument erected in honour of Serb soldiers killed
during the war in the 1990s will not be removed. It was agreed that
Croats and Muslims would also be allowed to put up monuments
honouring their dead.
It is believed that the decisions will contribute to inter-ethnic
reconciliation in the area.
