Product in the first three months of 2003 came to 4.9 percent. #L#
This indicates a trend of a rise in GDP, according to figures
released by the analysts of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce.
The growth rate of GDP in the first quarter of 2002 was 4.3% while,
the annual rate for the last year was 5.2%.
The rise in GDP in the first quarter of this year should be ascribed
to a 16.2-percent growth rate in investments and a 4.9-percent
increase in personal consumption, the same source reported.
