"If we hadn't stood by the government's projects, it wouldn't have
been possible to realise them and accelerate the road to the
European Union," Rados said at a session of the party's Council.
The recent privatisation of the oil company INA has been one of the
government's better projects, "financially successful, fair and
legal," said Rados.
"Libra will persevere in having privatisation be transparent and
fast, and clear answers will enable that."
Rados said the opposition, by contesting the INA privatisation, was
trying to hide its own failures in privatisation processes and
bring every positive step by the ruling coalition into question.
"The opposition is trying to manipulate voters without relevant
facts."
Rados said about 30,000 signatures had been collected to back
Libra's project to abolish mandatory military service. He added the
first stage of this project was nearing completion.
Deputy Prime Minister Goran Granic agreed with Rados that the
government had good projects in the last couple of months, but said
some processes should be expedited.
Granic said Libra's greatest value was "transparent, correct and
concrete" problem-solving.
