ZAGREB, July 17 (Hina) - Representatives of Croatia's ministry for trades, small and medium-sized enterprises and the European Commission met in Zagreb on Thursday to discuss the European Charter for Small Enterprises the ministry
should sign by the end of the year.

Commission met in Zagreb on Thursday to discuss the European
Charter for Small Enterprises the ministry should sign by the end of

Croatia must notify the EC about the adjustment of its laws to the
Charter by October, it was said.
Most of the measures signatory countries are bound to take under the
Charter are already contained in the Croatian ministry's programme
for the development of small enterprises by 2006. These measures
refer to education and training in entrepreneurship, securing a
cheaper and faster setting up of companies, and a better
legislation.
