Rugova and Brayshow agreed that the security situation in Kosovo
had improved and that there were greater possibilities for
investment. In that context Rugova called on everybody to commit
themselves to creating a stable economy.
Brayshow said foreign investments were mechanisms that could
facilitate Kosovo's economic progress. He welcomed Rugova's
engagement in the process of the return of refugees and displaced
persons, and stressed the importance of his meeting with displaced
Serbs last week in Urosevac.
The acting UN civil administrator called on Kosovo institutions to
offer specific programmes for the return of refugees and to help
ensure a peaceful coexistence of all citizens.
