MOSTAR, July 12 (Hina) - Bosnia-Herzegovina Presidency chairman and vice president of the Croatian Democratic Union party (HDZ), Dragan Covic, called on Croats on Saturday to return to their pre-war homes in Bosnia's Serb entity,
saying the HDZ wanted to create a climate of "encouragement" and "switch from words to deeds" following the pope's recent visit to Banja Luka.

war homes in Bosnia's Serb entity, saying the HDZ wanted to create a
climate of "encouragement" and "switch from words to deeds"

Covic voiced confidence most Bosnian Croats would return to their
pre-war homes by the end of 2004.
According to official Catholic Church data, about 400,000 Croats
left their homes in Bosnia during and after the early 1990s war.
Most of them had been expelled from the Serb entity -- Republika
Srpska. Only a few thousands have returned and the majority took
refuge in Croatia.
