ZAGREB, July 9 (Hina) - The Croatian Party of Rights (HSP) and the Zagorje Democratic Party (ZDS) on Wednesday signed an agreement on forming a pre-election coalition in the first and third constituencies, which include parts of the
City of Zagreb, Krapina-Zagorje County, and part of Varazdin County.
ZAGREB, July 9 (Hina) - The Croatian Party of Rights (HSP) and the
Zagorje Democratic Party (ZDS) on Wednesday signed an agreement on
forming a pre-election coalition in the first and third
constituencies, which include parts of the City of Zagreb, Krapina-
Zagorje County, and part of Varazdin County. #L#
HSP president Anto Djapic told a news conference the cooperation
would enable the ZDS to have an impact on events in Croatia and give
the HSP a bigger influence in Croatia's northern region of
Zagorje.
Djapic expects the coalition to win between eight and 11 seats in
parliament.
ZDS president Stanko Belina expects both parties will benefit from
the cooperation agreement because they are linked by a conservative
political platform.
