The project, worth EUR763,000, is a contract on services of
technical assistance to Croatia between the European Commission's
Delegation in Croatia and France's standards association (AFNOR).
It aims at improving Croatia's existing legal framework of
standardisation, metrology, accreditation and certification of
products in line with EU standards.
The objective of the project is to ensure good quality of Croatian
products, but also to prevent products of poor quality from
arriving at the Croatian market, the head of the European
Commission delegation to Croatia, Jacques Wunenberger, said in
Zagreb Thursday.
