THE HAGUE/ZAGREB, June 27 (Hina) - The UN war crimes tribunal for the ex-Yugoslavia at The Hague (ICTY) said Friday the process against a former Croatian Armed Forces chief-of-staff, General Janko Bobetko, had been formally
discontinued.

the ex-Yugoslavia at The Hague (ICTY) said Friday the process
against a former Croatian Armed Forces chief-of-staff, General
Janko Bobetko, had been formally discontinued. #L#
On June 24, 2003, the trial chamber ceased the process against Janko
Bobetko who died on April 29, 2003, says the tribunal's weekly
review of its work.
The tribunal issued an indictment against Bobetko for war crimes
committed during the 1993 Medak Pocket operation in Croatia.
