The meeting was also attended by European Integration Minister
Neven Mimica.
Granic, the press release said, proposed regular meetings between
government representatives and EC officials considering the
priority the process of admission to the EU was given in the
government programme.
Granic informed Ambassador Wunenberger of reports concerning the
fulfilment of obligations relating to Croatia's accession to the EU
that the European Integration Ministry presented at government
sessions every week, the press release said.
Wunenberger welcomed Granic's initiative and stressed the
importance of co-operation and the exchange of opinions.
The first meeting should be held in the first half of July.
It will discuss government measures regarding the adjustment of
legislation to the EU legislation and other obligations Croatia
must fulfil to be able to join the EU, the press release said.
