GOSPIC, June 6 (Hina) - State and local administration bodies in Lika-Senj County are not efficient, they are slow in solving housing issues, the employment of displaced persons and settlers, and the exercising of rights under the law
on Croatian Homeland War veterans, deputy ombudsman Zeljko Tora said after a five-day visit to the county.
GOSPIC, June 6 (Hina) - State and local administration bodies in
Lika-Senj County are not efficient, they are slow in solving
housing issues, the employment of displaced persons and settlers,
and the exercising of rights under the law on Croatian Homeland War
veterans, deputy ombudsman Zeljko Tora said after a five-day visit
to the county. #L#
Ombudsman Zeljko Klaric recently visited the county, too. The visit
is part of a project called "The Activity of the Institution of the
Ombudsman", drafted in cooperation with the Organisation for
Security and Cooperation in Europe Mission in Croatia and with the
support of the Norwegian government. It is aimed at establishing
contacts between citizens in local communities with the
ombudsman.
