SFOR today stated its troops had arrested two persons, while eye-
witnesses claimed the troops were looking for Croatian General Ante
Gotovina, a runaway indictee of the U.N. war crimes tribunal in The
Hague.
During Monday, SFOR troops were checking vehicles at several
locations in the settlement of Scit near Rama, Rama police
officials confirmed. The check-up and search of vehicles at Scit
was carried out by fully equipped SFOR troops, local police said.
The interior ministry of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, which covers
the territory of Prozor-Rama municipality, stated that it had not
been notified about the operation.
