MINISTER ANNOUNCES WITHDRAWAL OF ARMY FROM BORDER

BELGRADE, June 5 (Hina) - Following Croatia's request for the demilitarisation of a part of the border at the Danube, the defence minister of Serbia-Montenegro, Boris Tadic, on Thursday said that the Constitutional Charter of his state union determined that the border should be controlled by the police and not the army of Serbia & Montenegro "which is in line with peace regional policy of the country".
BELGRADE, June 5 (Hina) - Following Croatia's request for the demilitarisation of a part of the border at the Danube, the defence minister of Serbia-Montenegro, Boris Tadic, on Thursday said that the Constitutional Charter of his state union determined that the border should be controlled by the police and not the army of Serbia & Montenegro "which is in line with peace regional policy of the country". #L# "The constitutional charter foresees solutions that are in keeping with our regional peace policies. We have not received any special request from any neighbouring country.
