The daily quotes Pavkovic's sister and brother as saying Pavkovic's
condition is critical as some 20 days before his arrest he had
undergone cancer surgery and is now not receiving adequate medical
treatment in prison.
General Pavkovic is suspected of having helped evacuate with
helicopters, from Tivat in Montenegro to Belgrade, a group of
people who tried to assassinate the leader of the Serb Revival
Movement, Vuk Draskovic, in the Montenegrin town of Budva in June
2000.
