ZAGREB, May 26 (Hina) - Foreign Minister Tonino Picula on Monday received a group of leading Croatian businessmen, within preparations for their coming visit to Brussels, the Croatian foreign ministry reported.

It is expected that the visit can be set for autumn after the
European Commission makes some adjustments to schedules.
In light of the fact that economic dimension is important in
assessments of an applicant's capability of becoming an EU member,
the continuos development of the Croatian economy will be one of the
key arguments for Croatia's readiness to adjust to EU standards.
The tour to Brussels will be a chance for leading Croatian
businessmen to explain the country's application from the economic
point of view, to officials of the European Commission and
representatives of EU member-states.
Present at the meeting with Picula were senior managers of Croatian
companies: Croatian Telekom, Pliva, Ericsson Nikola Tesla,
Atlantic Group, Podravka, Agrokor, Zagrebacka Bank and the
Croatian Employers' Association.
