Istria is an example of democracy in Croatia, primarily owing to
tolerance and co-existence, the press release said.
The authors of the threatening leaflets obviously want to drag
Istria and Croatia entirely into a climate of terror and fear, the
press release continued sharply condemning terrorists who
formulated the leaflets and the forces that stood behind them.
The Italian Union expressed its moral and political solidarity with
all those listed on the leaflets and hope that the relevant bodies
will do everything to protect these people.
