ZAGREB MEDICAL SCHOOL TO INTRODUCE STUDIES IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE

ZAGREB, May 26 (Hina) - Zagreb's Faculty of Medicine will introduce studies performed in the English language for the school year 2003/2004. The studies will last six years, faculty officials said Monday. #L# The curriculum is adjusted to American and European standards, as well as international validation exams. Foreign students, children of Croatian emigrants and Croatian citizens have shown interest in studying medicine in the English language, officials said. The tuition is EUR7,000 per year, or EUR7,200 if paid in two instalments, and should be paid before the start of each of the 12 semesters. (hina) lml sb
