for Sustainable Development", organised by the Environmental
Protection and Zoning Ministry, was held in Zagreb on Monday. #L#
The round table is aimed at encouraging better communication among
different parts of society in drawing up a sustainable development
strategy.
Minister Bozo Kovacevic said at the opening that drawing up a state
strategy for sustainable development was also hindered by the state
administration which lacked coordination, great public spendings,
a lack of clear strategy for economic development.
