ZAGREB, April 14 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Ivica Racan and his associated spoke on Monday with an extended Permanent Council of the Croatian Bishops' Conference (HBK) about the organisation and preparations for the coming visit of Pope John Paul II to Croatia in June this year.
ZAGREB, April 14 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Ivica Racan and his associated spoke on Monday with an extended Permanent Council of the Croatian Bishops' Conference (HBK) about the organisation and preparations for the coming visit of Pope John Paul II to Croatia in June this year. #L# Participants in the meeting expressed their satisfaction with what had been achieved to date due to the timely reception of an official announcement of the Holy Father's visit which serves as a huge promotion for Croatia, a press release by the government's public relations office said. There was talk at the meeting about the continuing implementation of an Agreement between the Holy See and the Republic of Croatia. The government representatives, headed by Premier Racan, and the extended Permanent Council of the HBK concerned themselves with the problem of refugee returns to areas of special state concern as well as taking care of Croats from Bosnia-Herzegovina currently occupying someone else's property.
