Cooperation Process), set for tomorrow in that capital.

of nine countries in south-eastern Europe began on Tuesday
afternoon in Belgrade as an introductory part of a summit meeting of
SEECP (South-East European Cooperation Process), set for tomorrow

The summit will draw heads of state or government of Albania,
Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Greece, Macedonia, Romania,
Turkey, Serbia-Montenegro and Croatia, which has the status of an
observer.
The visit of President Stjepan Mesic will be his first official trip
to Belgrade in his capacity as Croatia's head of state.
According to the foreign minister of Serbia-Montenegro, Goran
Svilanovic, one of the objectives of this biggest regional meeting
so far is to agree on a joint strategy for the regional
development.
Serbia-Montenegro is currently chairing the SEECP. The presidency
over it will be taken over by Bosnia-Herzegovina for the next one-
year period.
