strengthen cooperation with citizens on preventing corruption.

TIH will stimulate citizens to openly oppose corruption,
especially on the local level, the initiator and president of the
association, Josip Kregar, said on Friday at the first meeting with
volunteers who will be working on receiving the calls.
Kregar noted examples of Varazdin County and Pula City which were
the only ones to have started programmes for preventing corruption
on local levels, including an open telephone on which citizens can
report cases of corruption.
