Ahead of the meeting of parliament heads from Slovenia, Croatia,
Italy and Hungary, Borut Pahor said on Sunday he was looking forward
to meeting his Croatian counterpart Zlatko Tomcic.
"It would be useful to remove a kind of halt in the relations of our
parliaments, as parliaments, although not obliged to solve
diplomatic issues, have the duty to create a positive atmosphere,"
Pahor was quoted by the STA Slovenian agency as saying.
On Monday, the heads of the parliaments of the Quadrilateral Group,
will convene in the Slovenian seaside town of Portoroz to consider
their cooperation and joint efforts aimed at countering crime and
illegal migrations.
