The Serbian government is facing a crisis situation and one should
wait for that situation to calm down, Steiner said, suggesting that
Kosovo institutions in the meantime continue working on the
achievement of democratic standards.
After talks with a delegation of the European Commission, whose
experts started their first meetings with Kosovo leaders, Steiner
described as important the start of a process of Kosovo's inclusion
in the European Union's Stabilisation and Association Process.
