Croatia's delegation is led by Assistant Economy Minister Olgica
Spevec. The meeting will discuss this year's plan of activities of
the CEFTA countries.
Slovenia took over the CEFTA chairmanship from Slovakia on January
1. Croatia joined CEFTA on March 1.
According to Slovene sources central topics will be preparations
for the signing of an agreement on full EU membership to be done by
Slovenia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia. By signing the agreement,
the said countries will automatically terminate their membership
of CEFTA.
According to the same sources, also to be discussed in Macedonia's
application for membership.
