Due to a debt of more than 300,000 kuna (EUR39,473), the hospital's
gas supplier has decided to discontinue gas supply as of Monday, Dr.
Bosanac said, adding that 135 patients were currently treated in
the hospital.
The hospital's overall debt totals around 17 million kuna (EUR2.23
million). The government promised to write off around 14 million
kuna of the debt by 31 December last year, but has done nothing so
far, Bosanac said, calling on citizens and institutions to help the
hospital by paying contributions into the hospital's account at
Slavonska Bank.
