The head of the Osijek-Baranja Chamber of Commerce, Zoran
Kovacevic, said that trade with Vojvodina was constantly rising in
the past three to four years.
Nevertheless, even though trade is improving, a mere hundred
companies are involved in it, Kovacevic said, stressing the need to
include more companies in economic co-operation.
Croatia is tenth on the list of countries Vojvodina exports its
products to and sixth on the list of countries from which it imports
goods.
The head of the public relations department of the Vojvodina
Secretariat for Economy, Miroslav Nikic, said that Vojvodina's
government would undertake concrete measures to increase trade
with Croatia.
The Croatian delegation at the meeting included representatives of
some eight companies. Tomorrow it will visit the Regional Chamber
of Commerce in Sombor.
