"But other delicate issues in which I was not involved, such as the
Medak Pocket, were not discussed," Sarinic said after the interview
at the ICTY office in downtown Zagreb.
The former chief-of-staff also commented on the latest
developments in the Slobodan Milosevic trial and said the
prosecution's evidence was "thin".
"I am under the impression that they are in a somewhat delicate
situation regarding the Milosevic trial... To me, it (evidence)
seems a little thin", Sarinic said and added that the behaviour of
some prosecutorial witnesses who during the trial changed sides and
became Milosevic's witnesses, spoke in favour of his statement.
Sarinic, who several days ago said he would not be questioned as a
suspect, appeared before the ICTY investigators today also without
an attorney.
He will resume giving his statement tomorrow.
