ZAGREB, Feb 17 (Hina) - Matured and reported payment orders in Croatia last November amounted to 14.55 billion kuna, while 27,353 legal persons with 48,821 employees had frozen drawing accounts.
ZAGREB, Feb 17 (Hina) - Matured and reported payment orders in Croatia last November amounted to 14.55 billion kuna, while 27,353 legal persons with 48,821 employees had frozen drawing accounts. #L# Of that number, 86.8% of blocked legal persons, accounting for 91.5% of unpaid orders, have been blocked for more than a year. In the first 11 months of 2002, unpaid payment orders dropped by 2.8 billion kuna as in the whole of 2001, read data provided by the Financial Agency and carried by the Croatian Chamber of Commerce's bulletin on economic movements. The number of blocked legal persons in last year's first 11 months dropped by 6,500, while in 2001 it increased by 1,100. The number of employees in blocked companies in last year's first 11 months dropped by 51,400, 83% more than in 2001. 1 EUR = 7.6 kuna (hina) rml
