Doris Pack added that parliamentarians had not been notified of
what was going on between the Commission and governments, and
therefore it would be useful to set up small committees for
transport, infrastructure and power which would be a link towards
the Commission and receive from it all the necessary information.
This link could also push governments in the region to make some
steps, said Pack addressing the two-day meeting of the network of
south-eastern European parliamentarians, which is part of the
Stability Pact.
The fifth meeting, which ended on Tuesday, revolved around the
issues of power and transport, and it gathered delegations from
Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Macedonia and
Montenegro as well as European Commission experts.
