ZAGREB, Feb 6 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic on Thursday bestowed the Order of King Trpimir with the collar and the Morning Star on an outstanding American Croat, Bernard Luketich, for his contribution to Croatia's
promotion in the United States.

bestowed the Order of King Trpimir with the collar and the Morning
Star on an outstanding American Croat, Bernard Luketich, for his
contribution to Croatia's promotion in the United States. #L#
Credit should be given to Luketich for his being at the helm of the
Croatian Fraternal Union for 25 years, the Croatian head of state
said at the ceremony in his office.
Receiving the award Luketich said this credit also went to the
fraternal union, the leading association of Croats in the U.S.A.
and Canada, for its activities.
The union was established in 1894.
