ZAGREB, Jan 24 (Hina) - Croatia's Agrokor concern on Friday received an official confirmation of the Serbian Privatisation Agency that Agrokor's bid for tenders for the purchase of 55.49 percent of assets of the Yugoslav producer of
ice-cream and frozen fruits and vegetables, PKB Frikom MDD, was the best.

received an official confirmation of the Serbian Privatisation
Agency that Agrokor's bid for tenders for the purchase of 55.49
percent of assets of the Yugoslav producer of ice-cream and frozen
fruits and vegetables, PKB Frikom MDD, was the best. #L#
Agrokor will start negotiations next week, which, according to the
procedure for tender privatisation, should be concluded within 30
days. The Zagreb-based food processing concern, however, did not
state the amount for the purchase of the majority share of Frikom.
After the conclusion of the tender privatisation in Belgrade's
Frikom, Agrokor and Frikom will form a strong group of companies for
the production and sale of frozen food and become one of the leading
companies in the branch in Europe, Agrokor officials said in a
statement.
