Ivica Babic declined to speak in detail about the increase
percentage the union would consent to, saying this was a matter for
further negotiations.
The Health Ministry in a statement today expressed willingness to
raise doctors' salaries by some ten percent by setting supplements
to work conditions.
The ministry is also willing to analyse and correct possible
irregularities in the existing decree on coefficients.
"We find the offer to pay special working conditions acceptable in
principle as well as the offer to correct irregularities in the
decree on coefficients of complexity of jobs in public services. We
also wish to participate in drawing up a law on doctors," said
Babic.
