The pictures ware taken by students of the Rapperswil college of
engineering while they were on a study tour in the war-hit Croatian
city in late August 2002. The Swiss students were interested in the
process of reconstruction of damaged buildings and monuments.
The photos were put on display at the college last October to show
the injustice inflicted on Vukovar, Croatian Consul to Switzerland
Toni Glovatzkly said at the opening of the exhibition.
The proceeds from the exhibition, which was officially opened by
the Croatian Red Cross president, Jadranko Crnic, will be given to a
local kindergarten.
