Construction of the Zadar-Split Highway, Ivica Racan, stating that the issued location permit for the reconstruction of a state highway from the Zadar airport was in contrast to an agreement reached by the city and county with the Commission.
ZADAR, Jan 10 (Hina) - Zadar County Prefect Sime Prtenjaca and Mayor
Bozidar Kalmeta on Friday sent a letter to Prime Minister and
chairman of the Commission for the Expedited Construction of the
Zadar-Split Highway, Ivica Racan, stating that the issued location
permit for the reconstruction of a state highway from the Zadar
airport was in contrast to an agreement reached by the city and
county with the Commission. #L#
The officials stress that the location permit for the
reconstruction of the existing highway should be annulled and a new
one issued for the construction of a four-lane tunnel in the Zadar
airport zone as part of the future four-lane highway.
