"The position will be positive but will contain certain conditions," the chairman of the parliamentary committee on European policy, Anton Kokalj, quoted Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel as saying.
He was speaking after a session of the aforementioned and the foreign affairs committee which Rupel attended.
According to the two officials, Croatia will get a date for the entry talks provided it continued to strongly cooperate with the Hague tribunal.
The EU prime ministers will say at the Brussels summit they are satisfied with the progress Croatia has made in preparing for the EU entry talks, Kokalj said referring to Slovene diplomats' information.
