Pokupic is highly praised for her interpretations, her wonderfully warm and rich voice and assured technique as well as for her stage presence. In October 2003, she had a successful debut at the Theatre du Chatelet in Paris, where she sang Anna in "Les Troyens" by Hector Berlioz, with Sir John Eliot Gardiner conducting. Her successful London debut followed in May 2004 during the London Handel Festival, when she sang the role of Dejanira in Handel's "Hercules" under Laurence Cummings.
