ZAGREB, Nov 7 (Hina) - The film entitled 'Ta divna splitska noć' ('AWonderful Night in Split' in an unofficial translation)' by Croatiandirector and scriptwriter Arsen Anton Ostojic received The SpecialPrize for an outstanding artistic individual achievement, at the 14thinternational Film Festival in Cottbus, Germany. The jury of thefestival pointed to the marvelous work of the film's cameraman MirkoPivcevic.
ZAGREB, Nov 7 (Hina) - The film entitled 'Ta divna splitska noć' ('A Wonderful Night in Split' in an unofficial translation)' by Croatian director and scriptwriter Arsen Anton Ostojic received The Special Prize for an outstanding artistic individual achievement, at the 14th international Film Festival in Cottbus, Germany. The jury of the festival pointed to the marvelous work of the film's cameraman Mirko Pivcevic.

The 2-6 November festival in that German city was dedicated to East European Cinema. The Main Prize went to 'Schizo' by director Guka Omarowa, in the Russian-Kazakh-French-German co-production. The prize for the best direction went to Estonian Sulev Keedus for his film 'Somnambulist'.

Ostojic's film has so far been awarded at festivals in Pula and Sarajevo. The European Film Academy has nominated it also for the Discovery-Fassbinder award.
