In an exclusive interview with Glas Slavonija of Sunday, Sanader said it was in his "and the Croatian public's interest to find out the full truth when it comes to Minister Zuzul, but also when it comes to anyone else".
Sanader said "we must not have double standards" and that he would demand the whole truth about all scandals involving the previous Government, "where there were all sorts of goings-on", which he added were not investigated because his cabinet had more important issues to deal with.
Asked if major investigations of former Government leaders might be expected soon, Sanader said, "We can't carry out these investigations. Parliament may set up commissions of inquiry, but it is up to the courts to investigate all those cases, and I expect this to happen".
Following media allegations that Zuzul was in conflict of interest in connection with Imostroj, a company whose debt was written of by the current Government, the parliamentary opposition demanded that Zuzul resign. He refuted all the accusations.
